XBRL UK Limited is the UK arm of the XBRL International consortium. It is dedicated to advancing the use of XBRL in the United Kingdom. Its main activities are:
Both XBRL UK and XBRL International are non-profit making and membership is open to organisations of any size as well as to academics. Membership of XBRL UK automatically provides membership of the international consortium. See How to Join XBRL UK for more information on the benefits of membership and how to apply. XBRL International groups some 400 major companies, organisations and government agencies.
XBRL UK is facilitated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Members include major accounting firms, software companies, HMRC and Companies House.
